PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which gives a cured film having excellent adherability, pencil hardness, flexibility and resistance to boiling water, corrosion and weather, consisting of a vinyl chloride resin and an aliph. hydrocarbon solvent-soluble thermosetting acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:70-500pts.wt. aliph. hydrocarbon solvent-soluble thermosetting acrylic resin and optionally a pigment (e.g. TiO2), a dispersant for pigment, a surfactant, a thickener, a modifier such as thermal stabilizer and a solvent (e.g. mineral spirit) are blended with 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymn. of 1,000-2,000. The mixture is uniformly dissolved or dispersed in one another to obtain an organosol paint compsn. The compsn. is applied to a substrate and baked at a temp. (180-250 deg.C) not lower than the m.p. of the vinyl chloride resin for 1-10min to cure it.
