PROTECTING MEMBER FOR RECORDED MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To integrate a recording medium with a laminating material exactly by allowing air bubbles or residual ink solvent to escape through the fine holes provided in the laminating material. CONSTITUTION:A protecting material to cover and protect a recording medium with recorded pictures is of a filmy form with air-permeable small through-holes 1. The protecting material is laminated only on the picture-formed face of the recording medium or on both the surface and back sides of the medium. In the latter case, the protecting material may be applied on the back side and an other protecting material having no air-permeable small holes may be applied to the surface side. The protecting material uses a resin film having plural small holes of a pore diameter of 20-60mum, preferably 30-50mum.
