摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a device by aranging plural light sources in a line in the direction orthogonal to the driving direction of a photosensitive body to constitute the device so that energizing and deenergizing of each region of the destaticizing light source can be controlled in accordance with a recording size and the position of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:First, for the purpose of erasing the electric charge in the front of a recording region, a high level is outputted to ports P11-P15 of a microcomputer CPU to energize all LEDS of an eraser 11. When the front end of the recording region is detected, output ports P11-P15 are set again in accordance with the recording size discriminated by checking input ports P6-P10, and a side erase mode is set. For example, in case of B5R recording size, output ports P12-P15 are set to the high level, and the port P11 is set to the low level, and LEDs except an LED1 in the region of B5R are energized. When the rear end is dtected, ports P11-P15 are set to the high level again, and a rear end erase mode where all LEDs are energized is set. By this constitution, the cost of the device is reduced.
