<p>The vacuum regulator ensures that, when the engine is running after pushing in the clutch pedal and the gear lever in neutral, the clutch remains disengaged when pedal is released. The vacuum regulator consists of a vacuum cylinder (12) with integrated regulating valve housing (22). The vacuum is regulated by a mechanism (41,42,43) which is fitted between the regulating valve housing and the gear lever handle (39). The vacuum cylinder is connected via a cable (7) to the clutch. The reciprocating piston (13) in the cylinder (12) has an encompassing spring disc (15) which, by means of a pull-cable (34), is connected with the clutch pedal.</p> |
