PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal corrosion at the time of a submersion under water by forming a coating layer consisting of a material, potential thereof is lower than an electrical apparatus proper, on the outer surface of a protective hardware constituting one part of the apparatus proper and connecting the protective hardware to a grounding terminal under the state in which the coating layer is exposed. CONSTITUTION:A protective hardware 13 is mounted around the side surface of an electrical apparatus 11 such as a transformer for distributing power installed to a floor surface 2 in an underground hole with an opening section communicated with the outside air through a tubular reinforcing plate. A coating layer consisting of a material, such as zinc, aluminum or the like, potential thereof is lower than the apparatus proper 11, is formed on the outer surface of the protective hardward 13. Only the coating layer 21 is exposed, and other sections of the apparatus proper 11 are heavy-duty corrosion-protected and coated. A solderless terminal 22 is mounted to one part of the protective hardward 13 by a bolt 23, and the protective hardward 13 is connected to a grounding terminal section 16 for the apparatus proper 11 through the solderless terminal 22 and a lead wire 24. |
