PURPOSE:A controller for soil blights against plant germs in plowed fields, paddy fields, orchards, tea plantations, mulberry fields, meadows, lawns, etc., containing a specific acid amide compound. CONSTITUTION:A controller for soil blights containing 0.2-80.0wt% compound [e.g., N-(2-cyclohexenyl)propionic acid amide] shown by the formula (R<1> is H, or lower alkyl which may be replaced; R<2> is H, lower alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl, uracil, alkyl, etc.; X is O, S, or imino; n is 1-4 integer). This controller has improved controlling effect on soil blight caused by plant germs such as Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. licopersici, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. raphani, Pythium aphanidermatum, verticillium albo-atrum, Corticium rolfsii, etc.
