PURPOSE:To control a sound image in a optional direction with simple constitution by dividing the input signal of an input terminal into two parts and outputting one of the two parts, the 1st signal, to the 1st output terminal as it is and further dividing the other part, into two parts the 2nd signal, after passing through the 1st time delay creating means. CONSTITUTION:A signal S0 inputted into an input terminal 1 is divided into three parts after passing through a front-to-back difference discriminating circuit 11. The 1st output becomes a signal S1 which is outputted to an output terminal 2 as it is. The 2nd output signal is inputted into an adder 10 through a circuit 13 for creating a binaural difference in a specific direction and the 3rd output is inputted into the same adder 10 through a circuit 14 for creating binaural difference in the direction of a loudspeaker and a phase inverting circuit 9. The output of the adder 10 becomes a signal S2 which is outputted to another output terminal 2'. The circuits 13, 14, and 9 and adder 10 constitute a binaural difference creating circuit 12. When this circuit 12 is used for the time of reproduction, acoustic apparatuses (stereo amplifier, cassette tape recorder, TV set, etc.) having a sound field expanding effect generator which expands a sound field outside of the space between two channel speakers are obtained. |
