<p>A motor oil change kit, especially for use by "do-ityourselfers", in which all that is needed for conveniently and cleanly changing the engine oil of a vehicle may be packaged together in a way which assists and encourages the motorist to carry out oil changes and to take the used oil to an authorised collection facility. Various embodiments are described and one provides a closeable container (32) of new oil with a closure cap (48) removably nested within a collection container (12) for used oil having a wide opening (22) closeable by means of a lid (66) initially stored in a recess (58) of the container (12). In other embodiments the new oil container is initially retained within the used oil container by means of a removable lid or by a wrapping band. In some embodiment means are provided for transferring the used oil from the used oil container to the emptied new oil container which is then capped for disposal.</p> |
