PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of an underwater motor and to prevent the ageing change of an insulating resistor by integrally forming a stator by using a thermosetting resin molding material. CONSTITUTION:The coil 2, the coil end and a slot unit of a stator are treated to provide waterproofness with glass flake filler-contained epoxy resin low moisture permeable varnish (having 0.5g/m<2>.24H of moisture permeability) having 60- 80 of aspect ratio. Then, a molding layer 1 is formed by integrally molding with thermosetting resin molding material such as phenol resin, epoxy resin or unsaturated polyester resin. A film 4 of low moisture permeable epoxy varnish interrupts externally immersed water and prevents the layer 1 from cracking. |
