<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to enlarge the ferroresonance suppressing range of a potential transformer by a method wherein the ferroresonance suppressing ranges of suppressor circuits of the plural number of groups are made to differ mutually. CONSTITUTION:When ferroresonance is generated in a small electrostatic capacity region, the saturatable reactor 7b of a suppressor circuit 6b saturates prior to the saturatable reactor 7a of a suppressor circuit 6a, and a suppressing resistance component 8b is connectecd to the secondary circuit of a potential transformer 1 to suppress rapidly generation of ferroresonance. While, when ferroresonance is generated in a large electrostatic capacity region, the saturatable reactor 7b saturates first the same with the case mentioned above, and although the suppressor circuit 6b is connected to the secondary circuit of the potential transformer 1, but the resistance value of the suppressing resistance component 8b is large, and has not the suppressing effect of ferroresonance at such a large electrostatic capacity region, and moreover ferroresonance is not generated by itself. Thereupon the saturatable reactor 7a set at the saturation voltage of the value lower than that of the potential transformer 1 saturates, and a suppressing resistance component 8a having a small resistance value to enable to suppress ferroresonance in a large electrostatic capacity region is connected to the secondary circuit of the potential transformer 1 to suppress rapidly ferroresonance.</p> |
