The invention concerns a procedure and apparatus, which by use of a heated sensor, determines the flow of heat between a body covered in a thermal resistive layer and its surroundings, such as when a person suffers heat loss particularly in connection with going out of doors. The flow of heat given off by the skin is simulated by a corresponding electric current (I). The skin's heat resistance is simulated by a corresponding electric resistance (R) through which the above current flows. The body temperature and the skin's external temperature are simulated by two corresponding voltages (Ub and Us).The sensor body is heated by the current (I) which flows through the transistor (T1), while the temperature arising (Us), which corresponds to the skin's external temperature, is detected by the linear temperature transmitter (D1). The voltage (Ub) corresponding to the body's temperature is produced by the voltage dividers (R2-R3). The operational amplifier (OP1) seeks to bring about parity between on the one hand, the voltage (Ub), and on the other hand, the sum of the voltage (Us) and the voltage across the resistance (R); these conditions correspond to what is being simulated. The current (I) is measured by an instrument in the flow of heat, or one graduated in temperature, where the temperature corresponds to that in a still air mass which would cause a similar level of cooling as the relevant climate.<IMAGE> |
