PURPOSE:To increase the strength of connection, by forming a plate, which comes into contact with a cam, from a sinter material and integrally forming the main unit of a lifter, the plate and a pipe for a flow of oil by a liquid phase generated from the sinter material. CONSTITUTION:A plate 8 brought in contace with a cam C is provided on the upper part of the main unit 1 of a lifter, forming an oil storage space 9 of a hydraulically operated mechanism 6 between this plate 8 and the main unit 1 of the lifter, and oil is fed to this oil storage space 9 through a pipe 11. The plate 8 is formed by a sinter material, and the main unit 1 of the lifter, plate 8 and the pipe 11 are simultaneously formed integrally by a liquid phase generated from the sinter material when the plate is sintered. In this way, large strength of connection is obtained. |
