PURPOSE:To ensure clearance, serving as a pneumatic bearing, through prevention of hand drum-shaped thermal deformation of a rotary sleeve and to ensure smooth rotation performance of the rotary sleeve by improving anti-wear resistance of the rotary sleeve, by a method wherein the entire rotary sleeve is formed by a composite material containing fiber, having low rate of thermal expansion, at the inside thereof. CONSTITUTION:A rotary sleeve 17 is rotatably and floatably supported in a center housing 1 through a pneumatic bearing chamber 18, and a rotor 2 having vanes 16, which can freely slide to engage with the rotary sleeve 17 is located in said housing 1. The entire rotary sleeve 17 is formed by a composite material containing fiber, having low rate of thermal expansion, at the inside thereof. This prevents hand drum-shaped thermal deformation of the rotary sleeve 17 and ensures uniform clearance of the pneumatic bearing chamber 18. Further, the use of the composite material results in improvement of anti-wear resistance the rotary sleeve 17. |
