PURPOSE:To prevent the heat collecting efficiency of a water heater system from lowering, by properly charging a closed refrigerant circuit with refrigerant, in accordance with the length of a connecting pipe which connects a heat collecting unit to a heat exchanging unit. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant gas in high temperature and under high pressure, compressed by a compressor 3, is fed into a condenser 4, where it heats the cold water, passing through a feedwater heating circuit and being fed by a circulating pump, up to the high temperature, and the heated water is stored in a storage tank 8. On the other hand, the refrigerant, deprived it of its condensing heat, is liquified, flowing into a thermo-expanded valve 5 passing through a connecting pipe 9 with its pressure being decreased, and is fed into a heat collector 1, where it is gasified and evaporated by absorbing the solar heat and the atmospheric heat, and is returned into the compressor 3, passing through a connecting pipe 10 and an accumulator 2. The heat exchanger is previously charged with the proper quantity of refrigerant, when a heat collecting unit is connected to a heat exchanger unit by the shortest connecting pipe. When a longer pipe is used, more refrigerant which is equivalent to the extended pipe is to be added to the connecting pipe. By this method, the refrigerant is not in short if the connecting pipe is extended, and the heat collecting efficiency is not lowered. |
