PURPOSE:To maintain the minimum ground level of a vehicle in a high position by constituting a front wheel drive in such a way that the drive shaft of a hydraulic motor is disposed coaxially with the turning center of a gear case 10 pivotally supporting a front wheel shaft and driving the hydraulic motor causes of the front wheel shaft to run via a gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic motor 3 is tightened to the external face of a front axle 2 with bolts 4. Said motor 3 is provided at one end thereof with a boss 5 including a journal part 8 in the center, and at the other end with a journal part 9 coaxially formed with the drive shaft 7 of the hydraulic motor 3. A gear case 10 is rotatably engaged with said journal parts 8 and 9. A front wheel shaft 19 is held via bearings 20 and 21 by the external cover 18 which is fixed to the case 10. The front wheel shaft 19 interconnects the drive shaft 7 via a gear mechanism 22 which is made up of a bevel gear mechanism 28 consisting of the train of bevel gears 26 and 27 and a planetary gear mechanism 34 which has a carrier 29 fixed to the front wheel shaft 19. |
