PURPOSE:To check drum-form thermal deformation in a rotary sleeve to the utmost, by installing a layer comprising a composite material being smaller in a coefficient of thermal expansion than a base material of the rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A rotary sleeve 17 consists of light metals and a light alloy such as aluminum, and aluminum alloy, etc., and at both ends of the rotary sleeve 17, there is provided with a layer 36 composed of a composite material of the aluminum alloy as a base material 35. This composite material 36 consists of such a material as being smaller in a coefficient of thermal expansion than the base material 35 of the rotary sleeve 17. Since a temperature differential is produced between inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the rotary sleeve 17, if the sleeve tries to deform itself into drum-form, the amount of thermal expansion in a radial direction at both ends of the rotary sleeve is held down to be smaller than other parts. Therefore, the deformation in the sleeve is thus checked to the smallest possible extent. |
