CORRECTION CONTROLLER FOR SIZE OF TOOL

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain an automatic replacement between life tools of different sizes by giving an automatic alteration to the correction data corresponding to the tool. CONSTITUTION:A terminal controller 2 connected to a numerical controller 1 contains a memory means TIT which stores the size correction values corresponding to plural spare tools and a correction value selecting means 4 which supplies the correction value of the selected spare tool to the controller 1. In addition, a rewriting means 5 is added to rewrite the contents of the means TIT in accordance with the data on the correction value given from a central controller 3. While the controller 3 is provided with a main memory means MIT which stores the size correction value of the spare tool and a data transfer means 6 which transfers the contents of the means MIT to the controller 2 in response to the replacement of the tool. In such a way, the correction data is automatically replaced and therefore an automatic replacement is possible between life tools of different sizes.
