REPAIRING METHOD OF BLAST FURNACE WALL

PURPOSE:To reduce a repair material to be used by about 80% and repair time by about 40% as compared to the prior art by repairing the damaged part of a furnace wall by using a nozzle for spraying attached to a swiveling chute and an optical fiber scope. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber scope 14 and a nozzle 13 for spraying attached with a flexible tube at the root end are provided to a swiveling chute 12 in such a way that the respective projecting lengths from the top of the chute 12 are adjustable. The nozzle 13 and the scope 14 are positioned to face the damaged part 15 of a furnace wall by the adjustment of the respective projecting lengths, and the swiveling and tilting operation of the chute 12. The operator repairs the damaged part of the furnace wall while observing said part through the optical fiber scope 14.
