The subject of the invention is an overrun brake system for trailers, in which a draw bar (2) arranged in an A-frame (1) operates a two-armed transmission lever (5) by way of telescopic connecting bars (4), which lever transmits the brake force to expansion elements of wheel brakes by way of bowden cables (3).
