The feed device is described for feeding a thermoplastic, in particular rubber-like, material to a heated mould of a plastic transfer moulding press, with at least one feed channel for the material to at least one cavity of the mould, which feed channel opens into a feed plate having at least one runner, at least one temperature-controlled nozzle being provided between the runner and the mould. To provide a feed device of this kind which can compensate for the relative movements between the mould and feed plate caused by thermal effects and can ensure a uniform feed path for the material under all operating conditions of the press, it is provided that the nozzle has a shaft fastened in the feed plate and a heated nozzle head which is movable relative to the shaft, the shaft and nozzle head being forced one onto the other in alignment.
