<p>A control valve assembly comprises a manually operable, rotatable spool(18) located adjacent to an inlet passage(42) for controlling the amount of slurry to be conducted to lapping machine wheel. A vertical passage(78) leads downward from the spool and a multiway (pref. 4-way) splitter member(46) is positioned at the lower end of the passage(78) to divide the slurry into e.g. four parts. The divisions are of approx. equal amounts for delivery to a corresp. number of different areas on the lapping wheel.</p> |
