Lines 8 and 9, 27 and 28 connect two compartments to one another. Lines 8 and 28 of a first type will together present a lower resistance to the flow from the first compartment 7 to the second compartment 6 than the combined lines 9 and 27 of the second type, and the lines 9 and 27 of the second type will together present a lower resistance to the flow from the second compartment 6 to the first compartment 7 than the combined lines 8 and 28 of the first type. When the pressure is varied in the first compartment, this will cause the fluid to flow between the compartments, and the differing resistance of the lines to the flow will produce a mixing without the disturbance of a mixing mechanism extraneous to the compartments.
