PURPOSE:To improve the exhaust efficiency and to reduce wind noise of an electromagnetic clutch motor by introducing cooling air in two flows of a motor outer frame and a clutch outer frame. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel 2 of an inertial unit and a clutch disk 3 are held at a rotor 1 of a motor, and an electromagnetic clutch and a brake are contained in a clutch frame 4. To cool the motor, two branching cooling air passages are formed. An air window 18a is formed in a housing 18, and one air is sucked by a gap between a cover 19 and the housing 18. The stator of the motor is cooled threreby, the air is accelerated by a centrifugal fan 17 provided at the inertial unit 2 through a middle bracket 20, and exhausted from the window 18a. Cooling fan 20 is provided via radial ribs at the unit 2, and cooling air is introduced from a filter 24 engaged with a P engineering plastic 4. A brake disc 17 or the like is cooled by the air, and exhausted through the ribs 21 of the plastic 4, from air windows 16a, 14a. |
