PURPOSE:To form a high quality image in a non-peelable state, in an ink jet printer suitable for fabricating the original drawing for OHP, by providing a heating means for heating a member to be recorded after image formation. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 1 comprising a thermosetting resin film receives a color image recorded by a recording head 4 and heated by a heater 9 for heating the recording paper while sent by conveyor rollers 7, 8 and the ink receiving layer comprising a thermosetting resin formed on the surface to be recorded of said recording paper 1 is cured and toughened under heating. On the other hand, the ink emitted from the recording head 4 and adhered to the ink receiving layer is taken in said ink receiving layer and brought to a perfectly fixed state. Thereafter, the image formed paper is cut into a predetermined length by a cutter 10 and the obtained recording paper 1 is used as the original drawing for OHP. By this method, the original drawing suitable for an overhead projector of which the formed image is high grade and is not peeled off can be fabricated. |
