Especially in conically distally tapering but otherwise solid hollow bodies (Fig. 1), electromagnetically generated mechanical vibrations can be directed in reversal of the bell mouth function, bundled to the distal part of the hollow body and transmitted from there with much higher energy to other bodies such as crowns. A very outstanding property of such mechanical vibrations is to bring about loosening at interfaces. Using the above-mentioned, conical hollow device according to Claim 1-7 this physical property was utilized for loosening bridges, crowns and the like in a way better than with the customary, purely mechanical devices, and this may also be useful for extraction of teeth. <IMAGE>
