PURPOSE:To extract rapidly without either damaging the inner surface of a cylinder or breaking the cylinder by extracting with pneumatic pressure. CONSTITUTION:By supplying compressed air into a cylinder 18 from a compressed air supply port 38, pneumatic pressure is exerted on the surface of hot water in the cylinder 18 to open a lower valve body 22, and the hot water is poured into a chamber 14. The liquid, after extracting the constituents of coffee, etc. by permeating the powder in the chamber 14, permeates a filter 12, and is sent out from an extract port 11 of a filter block 10 through a supply tube. Then a moving frame 6 is moved to scrape off the lees on the filter 12 with a scraper 29 attached to its end part. In this way, a driving mechanism of a piston, which is indispensable to conventional piston type apparatus, can be dispensed with, and any risks of damaging the inner surface of the cylinder and of breaking the cylinder can be eliminated. |
