发明名称 SOLVENT FOR ORGANIC SOLVENT BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the low temperature discharge property while lowering polarization of a negative pole by using a mixed solvent containing more than one kind of ethylene glycol dialkyl ether having a specific construction. CONSTITUTION:In an organic solvent battery making a light metal like lithium or the like to be a positive pole active material while using a nonaqueous organic solvent, the polarization of the negative pole of the battery can be remarkably reduced by using a mixed solvent, which can be expressed by a general formula ( I ), R1-O-CH2-CH2-CH2-O-R2...( I ) (provided that R1 and R2 are respectively alkyl radicals having no same construction) while containing at least one kind of ethylene glycol dialkyl ether [electrolyte (A)] having an asymmetrical construction. The desirable construction of said R1 and R2 is that in which the total carbon number is 3-8 while most desirably 3-5. Those having the total carbon number exceeding 8 can be also used while not being desirable due to high viscosity as the solvent. Inorganic electrolyte salt able to be used in combination with the solvent of this invention is that containing Li such as LiClO4, LiBF4, LiPF6 and LiAsF6, for instance, in the case of the negative pole of Li.
