PURPOSE:To obtain a device for positioning a sheet made of metals, synthetic resins, etc., in which printing or the like is efficiently and surely carried out to aim at saving labor, by providing such an arrangement that the sheet is automatically supplied to a printing machine, etc. and is guided so that the sheet is made into contact with a positioning bed. CONSTITUTION:When motors 4, 32 are driven, a sheet P on a conveyor belt 3 is transferred, and a support shaft 18, a positioning bed 13, etc. are raised due to the rotation of a cam 23 to allow the belt 3 to pass through a recessed groove 61. When the sheet P abuts against a guide pawl 62 and a stationary pawl, the motor 4 and the belt 3 stop. After stopping of them, the piston rod of an air cylinder 86 is retracted, a guide pawl 64 is projected, the piston rod of an air cylinder 98 is extended, and the guide pawl 64, a stationary pawl 65, etc, are advanced by the resiliency of compression springs. Thereby, the four sides of the sheet P are clamped by the guide pawl 64, the stationary pawls, the guide pawl 64, and the stationary pawl 65. Accordingly, even if the sheet plate P is warped, it is guided so that it makes in contact with the positioning bed 13, and therefore, it is positioned by the stationary pawl 65 and is surely printed. |
