PURPOSE:To obtain a resin impregnated sheet with a smooth surface by sliding and passing a resin impregnated sheet in contact with a leveling lever. CONSTITUTION:A resin impregnating sheet 1 is dipped into a thermosetting resin varnish tank 2 in which thermosetting resin varnish is stored and impregnated with thermosetting resin, then the resin impregnated sheet 4 is brought into contact with a leveling bar 5 reciprocating in the direction transversal to the advancing direction to smooth the surface of the resin impregnated sheet 4. Surface smoothness may be improved by using a plurality of leveling bar 5.
