摘要 An apparatus for meteorological observation of an autonomous vehicle according to the present invention includes: a radar unit (100) that is provided with a rotation sensor on a roof of the vehicle to provide a three-dimensional map by scanning a periphery of the vehicle; a camera unit (200) that is provided in the interior of the vehicle to photograph a traffic lamp, peripheral vehicles, and a motion of a pedestrian or an obstacle; a radar unit (300) that outputs a signal of a predetermined frequency to the front side or the left or right side of the vehicle to measure a distance from a peripheral vehicle or an obstacle; a location calculating unit (400) that is provided on a wheel of the vehicle to measure a minute motion of the wheel and calculate the current location of the vehicle on the map; a communication unit (500) that receives a traffic speed, a traffic density, or a traffic amount information of a road on which the vehicle travels through a wireless network; a meteorological module (600) that is installed in the vehicle to periodically detect meteorological information and photograph a meteorological situation; and a control module (700) that receives information collected by the elements (100 to 600) of the vehicle and controls a speed or a direction of the vehicle. According to the present invention, a travel of a vehicle on a road can be controlled in consideration of a meteorological environment by simply and accurately calculating a rainfall in the periphery of the vehicle through electric waves output from a radar unit.
