PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of over-run of engine and the deterioration of fuel cost by using a system in which when a set vehicular speed is exceeded, maximum speed-changing step run interruption by manual switching is made impossible regardless of the setting condition of the manual switch. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit to control a solenoid valve 95 to interrupt the maximum speed-changing step run is connected to a gate circuit 927 to be ON-OFF-operated by signals from a manual switch 901 and also to a solenoid drive circuit 929 in parallel with the gate circuit 927. When vehicular speed signal from a vehicular speed sensor 902 exceeds a set value, a V1 comparator 921 to earth the solenoid drive circuit 929 is provided. Therefore, when vehicular speed exceeds a set value, maximum speed changing step run interruption by the manual switch 901 can be made impossible regardless of the setting condition of the manual switch 901. The deterioration of fuel cost by maloperation and releasing failure and over-run of engine can thus be prevented. |
