UREA DERIVATIVES, THEIR PREPARATION AND USE

Urea and thiourea derivatives of the general formula (I) in which Q represents (II) or (III); X represents oxygen or sulphur; Y represents chlorine or fluorine; and Z represents hydrogen, clorine or fluorine, are of use in controlling animal pests e.g. insects and acarids, and are of interest in plant protection. Processes for the preparation of the novel compounds as well as pesticidal compositions containing the novel compounds as active ingredient are described and exemplified. Methods for use of the novel compounds are also claimed.
