PURPOSE:To define positively the initial position of a pen, by providing the predetermined motion with both bases by a locking mechanism, one of the two bases being provided with a plurality of pens and the other with a hammer. CONSTITUTION:Two bases, 21, 22, are installed free to be displaced in the direction running along a platen 4 and on the other hand, the base 22 is provided with a plurality of pens and the other base 21 with a hammer 35. A lock mechanism 27 is installed in such a way that one of the bases is towed by a pulse motor My and both bases are connected through changing the relative position of both bases, the pulse motor My is started in a condition in which both bases 21, 21 are connected by the lock mechanism 27, one of the bases is displaced to its dead point and later, the pulse motor My is driven to a step-out condition for separating both bases, the other base is displaced to its dead point and later, by driving the pulse motor My to a step-out condition again, the initial positions of both bases are determined. |
