PURPOSE:To complete the positioning of a medium only with the 1s latch of an ejector when loading a medium by eliminating a moving distance over-travel of the ejector. CONSTITUTION:When a jacket 1 is pushed against a spring 5 energizing the ejector 2 in loading the jacket 1 sealed with a recording medium to the device, after the ejector 2 moves axially slightly a cam 14, the ejector 2 is latched by fitting the rear end of the ejector 2 to a slot part 100 provided to a holding plate 3. The jacket position in this case corresponds to the 2nd latch position and each dimension is decided to a position where the center, hole of the recording medium 1 is coicident with the center of the spindle of the device. Further, since the ejector 2 keeps the latch state just before door opens, the recording medium is ejected after the clamp mechanism and the head load mechanism or the like attended with the movement of a door lever 9 are moved to the release position entirely. |
