The arrangement for carrying out the method has one or more frequency-dependent filters with upstream and/or downstream amplifier stages as well as possibly at least one signal convertor for the output signal. The applicator consists, for example, of a hollow rod closed at the front and having electromechanical oscillation generators arranged therein.
