The conveying device has a transfer conveyor (1) for transferring the product units from a feed conveyor (2) to discharge conveyor (3), where the feed-, discharge- and transfer conveyor are designed as a gripping conveyor. The movement paths of the grippers (10) of the transfer conveyor and the grippers (20) of the feed conveyor are parallel in the partial section of a transfer region. The movement paths of the grippers of the transfer conveyor and the grippers (30) of the discharge conveyor are parallel in the partial section of the discharge region. An independent claim is included for a method for transferring the product units from a feed conveyor to a discharge conveyor using a conveying device. |
