PURPOSE:To fit a contacting means attachably/detachably so as to be easily used for different shapes of meters by forming a hole on a cap attachably/ detachably fitted to the front of a meter so that an indicator shaft coincides with the center of the cap and engaging a hollow shaft into the hole with play. CONSTITUTION:The hole is formed on the cap 2 attachably/detachably fitted to the front of a thermometer 1 so that the indicator shaft 3 coincides with the center of the cap 2, the hollow shaft is engaged into the hole with play and a setting knob 4 is fitted to the front of the cap 2. A lever 8 is fitted to the inside of the cap 2 unitedly and freely rotatably and an insulating cylinder 11 supporting a contact 9 and a spring 10 is loosely engaged with a shaft 6 projected to the inside of the cap 2. Since the contacting means is attachably/detachably fitted to the cap as an independent additional device without any work to a meter, the means can be easily used for different shapes of meters. |
