PURPOSE:To stabilize an optical axis by mounting a spring for absorbing any play produced in respective connecting parts among lamp side members and car body side members in the car retractable headlamp. CONSTITUTION:Upon elevating a headlamp 11, fitting parts, to respective shafts 17-20 of respective coupling parts between both before and behind end parts of upper and lower part links 15, 16, and a base plate 12 and a frame 14 in a parallel link mechanism 21 possess any play for allowing rotation to be smoothly performed. Hereby, any backlash is produced, but it is absorbed since a tension spring 28 is attached between the base plate 12 and the frame 14. And, a position relationship of the links 15, 16 to the both before and behind end part frames 14 and the base plate 12 becomes unchanged, allowing a lamp attitude at an illuminating position A and a housing position B to be fixed. Hereby, the optical axis is stabilized both at front illumination and at passing illumination. |
