PURPOSE:To obtain a useful tide embankment by lessening the variation in the heights of a flexible film rising and falling dam with the variation in the depths of upstream and downstream by specifically designating the ratio of the circumferential length of the dame to the fitting distance of the dams. CONSTITUTION:The ratio of the circumferential length (l0) to the fitting distance (d0) of the bags of a flexible film rising and falling dam is made smaller than 4. Since the variation in the heights of the dam with the variation in the water depths of up-and down-streams is small, the frequent falling of the dam by small flooding can be prevented and the overflow vibration of the dam in a high overflowing state can also be prevent. The dam is useful as a tide embarkment, etc., in places where the water depth of downstream is varied. |
