<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of an input signal by interposing a Schmitt trigger circuit between a photoreceptor and its input terminal to effectively switch ON and OFF. CONSTITUTION:Even if an electric signal is input between input terminals 1 and 1a, a light emitting element 3 does not emit a light until a voltage exceeds a threshold voltage Vth of a Schmitt trigger circuit 2, and output terminals 5 and 5a of a photoreceptor 4 are OFF therebetween. When exceeding the Vth, the circuit 2 is conducted to supply power from a terminal 8 to the element 3 to emit a light, the photoreceptor 4 which receives a light signal is conducted to turn ON between terminal 5 and 5a. When decreased less than the Vth, the circuit 2 is turned OFF to stop emitting the light. According to the structure, the ON and OFF of the output of the photoreceptor side are stabilized, and an input signal power is not used for emitting the light emitting element, thereby reducing the power of the input signal.</p> |
