PURPOSE:To simplify the structure, by connecting a pair of disks by a connecting rod, rotating the disks, reading the amounts of rotations by detectors, computing the results, and finding the coordinate position of the connecting rod. CONSTITUTION:A first disk A and a second disk B are independent of each other and freely rotated. Slits Sa, SB,... are radially provided at the peripheral parts of disk surfaces 1 and 2 at an equal pitch. Every time the slits SA and SB are detected by detectors 3 and 4 when the disks A and B are rotated, the detected output is inputted to an adding and subtracting counter C. A connecting rod Z is inserted through swivel bearings G, which are provided in the eccentric positions of the disks A and B. The coordinate position of the tip of the connecting rod Z is computed by an operating circuit E based on the counted output of the counter C. The operating distance of the tip of the connecting rod Z from the original point is set by a setting circuit F in advance. Both output of the operating circuit E and the setting circuit F are compared by a comparing circuit H. |
