PURPOSE:To disperse a burst error by inverting one of data of two samples of correlative digital information signals to form complementary data and defining data of the other sample as one set and transposing data on the time series with this set as a unit. CONSTITUTION:Output data of a source encoder 3 is supplied to an inverting circuit 4, and every one word of continuous video data is subjected to inversion processing. Output data of this inverting circuit 4 is supplied to a shuffling circuit 5 and is transposed on the time series with two words as a set. An incremental write address is given to one of RAMs 21 and 22, and a read address changed in steps with a prescribed difference is given to the other. Consequently, when input data of the shuffling circuit 5 are W1,W2', W3,W4', W5,W6',..., adjacent two-word units are dispersed at intervals of a prescribed time in output data of the circuit 5 as W1,W2'...W3,W4'...W5,W6'.... |
