The invention relates to the construction of motor vehicles. The pressure regulator forming the subject of the invention is of the type comprising a body 1 pierced with a graduated emerging passage, separated by a sealing member A into two sections B and C which enclose valves whose closure elements are connected to one another by a push rod 26, a spacing bush 21 being arranged concentrically with the push rod 26 in the said sealing member A at least and consisting of two sealing rings 19 and 20 between which the spacing bush 21 is mounted, and, within the wall of the body 1, between the sealing rings 19 and 20, an orifice 28 is made and put in communication with the said graduated emerging passage, the said push rod being provided with a shoulder 25 on which one 20 of the said sealing rings bears. The regulator in question may be used effectively in particular in braking systems of motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
