PURPOSE:To work efficiently the working part in parallel with a guide rail attached in an optional position by providing nip rollers which slide along the guide rail to a portable automatic traveling carriage mounted with torches for gas cutting, thermal straightening and welding. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 12 is attached in parallel with the linear working part 6 (not shown in fig) of a steel plate 1 and both side faces of the rail 12 are grasped by nip rollers 13 in the stage of using a traveling carriage for straightening. While the rollers 13 are slid along the rail 12, a carriage 7 is run and the heating part is heated by heating torches 9, 10 and is cooled, by which the strain generated in the plate 1 is automatically relieved. |
