摘要 The clamping rail for fixing thin-walled skins to a loadbearing substructure, e.g. a skeleton structure, consists of a profiled enveloping strip 4 provided with a longitudinal slot 4a and of a profiled filling strip 5. One edge, formed into a hollow hem 1a, of the skin 1, 1', which extends outwards through the longitudinal slot 4a in the profiled enveloping strip 4, is clamped between these strips 4, 5. The clamping action occurs when tensile forces running perpendicularly to the axis of the clamping rail act on the skin. For further improvement of the clamping action of such clamping rails, on the one hand, and for perfect clamping of skins even with different thicknesses using one and the same clamping rail, on the other hand, at least the profiled filling strip 5 has a drop-like or wedge-shaped cross-section. When tensile stresses occur or are produced in the fixed skin, the profiled filling strip 5 together with the skin 1a enveloping it is pressed into the longitudinal slot 4a of the profiled enveloping strip 4, the clamping action being greater, the greater the tensile stress in the fixed skin. <IMAGE>
