PURPOSE:To coat the necessary minimum solution of dried lubricating agent uniformly on the respective surfaces of the teeth of the spline by arranging the train of gears, moving up and down, between the reserving tank of the solution of dried lubricating agent and the spline part of a work. CONSTITUTION:A reciprocating motion driving source 7 is operated by a work support finish detecting signal to elevate the train of gears 3-5 to a preset position and stop there through a support member 6 and the gear 3 at the uppermost position is meshed with the spline 2. The excessive solution for the necessary amount for coating the spline 2 is dripped from the gear 5 at the lowermost position. When the work 1 is rotated in one direction, adhered solution is coated on respective teeth of the spline 2. When the direction of rotation of the work 1 is reversed, the solution is coated on the opposite surfaces of the spline. When the coating is finished, the train of gears is lowered until the gear 5 at the lowest position of the train of gears 3-5 is dipped into the solution 0. |
