<p>A tool support having an arrangement for centering and fixing a tool and a rectangular frame characterized by a pair of pressing members mounted on adjacent sides of the frame and an arrangement to urge the pressing members away from their adjacent frame members so that a tool is moved diagonally toward an opposite corner of the frame. Preferably, one of the pressing members has a slanted plane end surface forming a cam surface which is engaged by a roller mounted on the other pressing member so that movement of the other pressing member is transferred to the one pressing member. The mounting arrangement also includes a tightening arrangement to bias the pressing members away from the adjacent side members of the frame.</p> |
