PURPOSE:To utilize a ramp as a platform, by providing a ramp body having a plane same as an upper deck surface in a recess formed on an upper deck of a hull with one end thereof pivoted in the recess, while the other end thereof pivotably connected to an end board, and thereby permitting the ramp body to be elevated and lowered by means of a wire hung over a support. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular recess 22 is formed on a deck surface 21 in a lateral direction of a hull, and a ship ramp body 1 having a plane same as the deck surface 21 is provided in the recess 22. The ramp body 1 is pivotably supported to a pivot shaft 12 at one end thereof in the recess 22, and is pivotably connected through a pivot shaft 6 to an end board 2 at the other end thereof. The ramp body 1 and the end board 2 may be elevated and lowered by means of a wire hung over each block of the support 3. In the case that the deck surface 21 is different from a quay in level, a vehicle is once loaded on the ramp body 1 as upwardly inclined, and then the ramp body 1 is lowered to the leveled with the deck surface 21. In this manner, it is possible to utilize the ramp body as a platform and easily load the vehicle into a ship.
