1. An arrangement for the transverse transportation of elongated products, in particular of billets, blooms or slabs (37), comprising a place of deposit (3) receiving the immediately adjacently arranged products, along which the products are movable transversely to their longitudinal extensions by means of liftable and lowerable lift bars (10) displaceable in the transverse transportation direction (27), and a longitudinal conveying means (23) provided at the end of the place of deposit (3), which receives one single product and supports the product in its longitudinal direction by means of rollers (24), the lift bars (10) being mounted on a lifting means (16) so as to be longitudinally displaceable and being connected with a horizontal adjustment means (28) by means of an articulation bracket (30), characterised in that the lift bars (10) project between the rollers (24) of the longitudinal conveying means (23) and the articulation bracket, during lowering of the lift bars, creates a motion component that is directed opposite to the transverse transportation direction. |
