PURPOSE:To detect the angle of a work with a small error without detaching the work from a receiving nor pressure table even when a light image of the work has a projection part by calculating coordinate values of the intermediate point of a work light image signal which is obtained by line photoelectric elements on reference coordinate axes, and deciding on the work angle. CONSTITUTION:The work light image is scanned by a line photo-electric sensor to decide on the distance (d) up to the intermediate point of a detection signal C. This distance (d) is corrected according to the angle of rotation of a lighting apparatus for work light image formation to obtain the intermediate point on reference coordinate axes, thus determining two orthogonal coordinates by the reference coordinates of the light image. The light image detection value of another line photoelectric sensor is processed similarly to detect the angle of the work with a small error from the angle of intersection of two straight lines connecting the two coordinates without detaching the work from the receiving nor pressure table even when the work light image has a projection part. |
